Explorer Surgical Hiring Customer Success Manager

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or program of study in STEM studies, business, or nursing is preferred

  • 2-4 years of healthcare experience, preferably in the operating room or otherwise engaging with surgeons and surgical staff (e.g., medical sales)

  • Experience in direct client engagement

  • Preference for Chicago area location, but open to national search. Assuming pandemic improves over the coming 12-18 months, long-term willingness to travel nationwide to hospital and medical device client and prospective client sites, sometimes on relatively short notice

Key Responsibilities: 

Accountable for end-to-end management of ~5-10 customers, depending on scope of each customer relationship. This includes:

  • Developing strong relationships with each customer’s project manager and key stakeholders

  • Managing the onboarding and training of customer project managers, key stakeholders and end users

  • Determining and owning customer-specific data reporting and analysis

  • Creating and sharing projects that prove value to each customer, specific to that customer’s particular vision, goals and metrics of success

  • Renewing each customer’s scope of work based on their specific needs

  • Identifying land-and-expand opportunities within the same team/division of each customer, as well as within new divisions

Assist the sales team with customer-oriented knowledge and perspectives. This includes:

  • Preparing for and attending scoping conversations with new prospects

  • Building customer-specific proposals based on that prospect’s individual needs and goals

  • Proving and showing the value we bring to each customer during land-and-expand process

  • Writing customer white papers/case studies detailing Explorer Surgical value propositions

Build customer-specific procedural workflows in Explorer, as needed. This includes:

  • Working with customers to create best-in-class Explorer content

  • Working with clinical operations team to ensure clinical accuracy of content
